AHEAD application in a nutshell

What is the application for?

The starting point into AHEAD is the four-day Bootcamp – Fraunhofer researchers can apply for it twice a year: either for the Bootcamp in March (deadline in January) or in September (deadline in July). During the Bootcamp we will challenge your project and on the 4th day of the Bootcamp you will pitch for AHEAD phase 1.

What kind of projects can receive support?

We support Fraunhofer spin-off projects as well as transfer projects aiming to license to established companies. If you are not sure yet which transfer path fits your project and interest best, you can apply as an "undecided team".

What are the requirements for an application?

You have a Fraunhofer technology, that meets the minimum TRL criteria (find below) + is free to operate
You have an initial business idea
You meet the requirements towards your project team (find below)
